The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it truly is alarmed regarding the high quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to website reach-out to your high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That sassa status check is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office focused on service the area daily. The company level established for intervention activities a large influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to empower the servicing of all prospects and enhance usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
